Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream

When: May 18-20, 2012
Where: Stephen B. Humphrey Theater, Saint John’s University

One of William Shakespeare's most hilarious and enchanting works comes to the stage in a production created especially for students. Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night's Dream is a whimsical story of love, mischief, matchmaking and magic as four young lovers enter the woods on a midsummer's night and get caught up in a lover's quarrel between the king and queen of faeries. Expect the unexpected with our fanciful, glimmering vision of laughter and mayhem in this classic turned modern comedic fantasy.

Samantha Lorenz, a Foley High School junior will play the role of Puck in Great Theatre’s production of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Tickets: $10 all seats

Friday, May 18th at 7:00 PM Saturday, May 19th and Sunday, May 20th at 2:00 PM.

Relay for Life Bingo with The Pampered Chef

When: Sunday, May 20th from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
Where: St. Peter and Paul Church basement in Gilman

This is a fund raising event for a Relay for Life team. ALL PRIZES are Pampered Chef products!! There is ABSOLUTELY NO FEE to play –it will be FREE!! DONATIONS ARE WELCOMED AND GOING TO THE RELAY FOR LIFE!!

You will also be able to place Pampered Chef orders and the proceeds are also going to the RELAY FOR LIFE! Bring a friend, or friends!! Book a show off the FUN-raiser and Pampered Chef donates more money!! Every $ helps!! Researching Your Competition

When: Thursday, June 7th from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Where: Sauk Rapids-Rice High School

Research your competition to stand out from the crowd! A vital step in developing business and marketing plans is to understand your competition. Join us to learn several ways to conduct research using search engine and analysis tools. You will learn strategies to protect your brand online and how to monitor competition and the consumer marketplace using alert tools.

Registration for class is ONLY $10.00 (Benton County Businesses and Residents are eligible for reimbursement of the registration fee).

Benton County American Cancer Society Relay For Life

When: Friday, June 15th to Saturday, June 16th from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
Where: Foley Public Schools Fieldhouse and Track Area

We all know many people who have fought cancer. This event raises money to help in the effort to find a cure for cancer. Form a team, get pledges and have fun supporting a great cause. Team packets are available to pick up at Princess Kay Beauty Salon in Foley. You can also call Michelle Hackett at 968-6050 for more information. Check back in June for more event details.

Breakfast on the Farm

When: Saturday, June 23rd from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM
Where: Brent Czech Farm, New Heights Dairy, 3145 155th St. NW, Rice, MN

The Benton County American Dairy Association invites you to enjoy "Breakfast on the Farm"!

Pancakes, sausage and eggs will be served from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. There will be no charge but there will be a free will donation box.

In addition to breakfast, there will be a petting zoo, a kids art station and door prizes.

Everyone is welcome! Bring a friend!
